Dr. Kemper is the Division Chief of Primary Care Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Professor of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Kemper serves as the Chair of the Evidence Review Workgroup for the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Advisory Committee on Heritable Disorders in Newborns and Children and is the Deputy Editor of PEDIATRICS.

Toni Gross MD, MPH, FAAP, FAEMS

Dr. Toni Gross is the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. Dr. Gross received her training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia and completed her pediatric residency at LSU Health New Orleans and Children’s Hospital. She was a fellow at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine and trained at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She served as a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Pediatric Emergency Medicine and was elected to the National Association of EMS Physicians board of directors in 2020. She currently serves as the medical director and chair of the advisory board for Louisiana’s EMS for Children program.
