Rachel Moon, MD, FAAP, is the Harrison Distinguished Teaching Professor of Pediatrics and Division Head of General Pediatrics and at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She is the associate editor, Digital Media for the journal Pediatrics.
Sarah R. McCarthy, PhD, MPH, LP

Dr. Sarah McCarthy is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Pediatrics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, where she provides psychological services to children with serious medical illnesses and their families as the co-director of the consultation liaison service and as a member of the pediatric palliative care team. Prior to joining the staff at Mayo Clinic, she was a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and an attending psychologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Connecticut College, her doctorate from Emory University, and her master’s in public health from Harvard University.
