Dr. Kemper is the Division Chief of Primary Care Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Professor of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Kemper serves as the Chair of the Evidence Review Workgroup for the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Advisory Committee on Heritable Disorders in Newborns and Children and is the Deputy Editor of Pediatrics.

Ellen S. Rome, MD, MPH, FAAP

Dr. Ellen Rome currently serves as the Head of the Center for Adolescent Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Children’s and is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case. She is a board-certified pediatrician who was also among the first in the US to be board certified in Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Rome is a past president of both the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG) and its umbrella organization, the International Federation for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (FIGIJ), with over 6000 members. She has served on the Committee on Adolescence as well as the Committee on Nutrition for the AAP, has chaired the Subcommittee on Eating Disorders for the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM), has chaired the Public Health and the Media Committees and currently serves on the Medical Care Task Force for the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED). Dr. Rome’s research interests include eating disorders and obesity, reproductive health, and preventive care/wellness.
