John Stirling, MD, FAAP

John Stirling, MD, FAAP, is a retired pediatrician with an extensive background in general pediatric practice. Dr. Stirling joined the medical team at the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego in 2016, providing abuse evaluations and medical care for foster children.  From 2007 to 2016, he served as the Director of the Center for Child Protection at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose. Dr. Stirling created and directed a primary care clinic for foster youth there and was the first director of the child abuse program at Stanford Children’s Hospital.  

Dr. Stirling has served on the AAP Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect, receiving the Academy's Award for Outstanding Service to Maltreated Children.  

Edward Curry, MD, FAAP

Edward Curry, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, CA and has more than 45 years of experience in the medical field. He specializes in the care of children who have attention deficit disorder, autism spectrum disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, and cerebral palsy. He serves as treasurer for the AAP California Chapter.
