R.J. Gillespie, MD, MHPE, FAAP, is a general pediatrician with The Children’s Clinic in Portland, Ore. From 2007-2010 he worked as the Medical Director of Quality Improvement for the Children’s Health Alliance, and from 2010-2016 he was the founding medical director for the Oregon Pediatric Improvement Partnership. He is the co-author of The Trauma-Informed Pediatric Practice: A Resilience-Based Roadmap to Foster Early Relational Health from the AAP Press. He has been active in multiple state and national advisory committees, most recently for the AAP Addressing Social Health and Early Childhood Wellness (ASHEW) and the Pediatric Approach to Trauma Training and Resilience (PATTER) Projects.

Amy King, PhD

Amy King, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who provides training, consultation and education to professionals and organizations. She specializes in trauma-informed work and resilience building. Dr. King has served as a statewide trainer for the Oregon Department of Human Services, the National Head Start Association, and Child Welfare, as well as a subject matter expert to promote child wellness in pediatric settings on behalf of Children’s Health Alliance.  

Srinivasan Suresh, MD, MBA, FAAP

Dr. Srinivasan Suresh is a practicing Pediatric Emergency Physician, Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and the Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. As an informatics researcher, he leads multi-disciplinary teams in applying business intelligence to measurably enhance healthcare for children. He serves as the Chair of the Council on Clinical Information Technology (COCIT) for the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for Pediatric Innovation. 

Sanghamitra Misra, MD, MEd, FAAP

Dr. Sanghamitra Misra is an integrative pediatrician with a passion for serving vulnerable populations. She is the medical director of the Texas Children’s Mobile Clinic Program and director of the Integrative Medicine Program at Texas Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Misra is professor of pediatrics and director of the pediatric clerkship at Baylor College of Medicine. She is the outgoing Chair of the AAP Section on Integrative Medicine (SOIM) and a member of the AAP Committee on Pediatric Education (COPE).  She serves on the Board of Directors of Undies for Everyone, Inc. and is incoming chair of the Mobile Healthcare Association.
