The Self-Assessment portion of this course is approved through the AAP MOC Portfolio Program for 17 points by the American Board of Pediatrics for MOC Part 2. 

To earn MOC points participants must attend the activity (in person) and successfully complete a post-test by September 21, 2027. 

All approved activities must be completed by the MOC Credit Approval End Date. All deadlines and MOC point values should be confirmed by checking the ABP Activity Catalog within each physician’s ABP Portfolio. By participating in the course, you will be able to:   

  • Attend 18 general session lectures, 6 question and answer sessions, and 3 in-person seminars. 
  • Ask the faculty members questions about challenges that you encounter in practice, either during the scheduled question and answer sessions or during session breaks.
  • Access and download syllabus material/presentation slides provided by the faculty. 
  • Participate in all scheduled meals and breaks, as listed in the course schedule.
  • After the course, access recordings from all six concurrent seminars, allowing you to see the three seminars you cannot attend live during the course.   
  • Participate in all catered events, including breakfast and beverage breaks (Friday through Sunday) and a box lunch (Friday Only).

Concurrent Seminar Selection 

Each concurrent seminar is offered three times. You can attend one concurrent seminar each day in the subspecialty of your choice. Pre-registration for concurrent seminars is not available for this course. Space in each session will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Session recordings from the course may take up to 2 weeks to be available after the course end date.

Special group rates beginning at $349 per night, plus tax, for single or double occupancy, have been negotiated at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. These rates represent substantial savings from published rates. The cutoff date for reservations at the group rate is February 19, 2027. Contact the hotel directly to make your reservations.

A limited number of guest rooms have been reserved, and they are assigned based on availability (first-come, first-served). Please be aware that the room block may be filled prior to February 19, 2027; in such a case, neither the group rate nor guest room availability can be guaranteed. The AAP, therefore, recommends that you make your reservations as early as possible.

To accommodate as many course participants as possible, registrants will be permitted to reserve no more than two rooms in the AAP’s hotel room block. If rooms remain available in the AAP room block three weeks prior to the start of the course, registrants may reserve additional rooms as needed. 

Any reservations not affiliated with a registered AAP course attendee or exceeding the two -room limit per attendee may be removed from the AAP room block, and the room rate will revert to Disney’s published rate. 

Hotel Reservations: Use the password to make your reservations. To access the password, register for the course and look for the password on your registration receipt. Reservations in the AAP block can also be made by calling the hotel directly and giving the password to the reservationist when requested.

Electronic Course Syllabus 

The syllabus will be available online to all attendees for download in advance of and after the course.  Printed copies of the syllabus are available for purchase during registration and can be picked up on site. 

Registration Confirmation  

Your registration will be confirmed. Please contact the AAP Registration Area if you do not receive a confirmation within 7 days. The AAP cannot be responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at this course. The AAP reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or to limit enrollments, should attendance exceed capacity. Course educational sessions are open only to registered attendees.

Cancellations 

Registration cancellations for this course must be received in writing at [email protected] no later than March 5, 2027, to receive refund, less a $75 administrative fee. Refunds will not be issued if the course materials have been accessed by the registrant at any time.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

PAs may claim a maximum of 21.50 Category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.

This program is accredited for 21.50 NAPNAP CE contact hours of which 0.00 contain pharmacology (Rx) content, (0.00 related to psychopharmacology) (0.00 related to controlled substances), per the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Continuing Education Guidelines. The AAP is designated as Agency #A17. Upon completion of the program, each participant desiring NAPNAP contact hours must send a completed certificate of attendance to [email protected].
