What motivates you to seek this position?

I am deeply committed to identifying leaders who will shape the future of the AAP. My previous leadership experience in the AAP has given me firsthand insight into the leadership pipeline. I have engaged with diverse members, supported leadership development and facilitated connections between trainees, early career physicians and senior leaders. As a residency program director and now division chief, my work in evaluating and mentoring residents and junior faculty has strengthened my ability to recognize leadership potential. I bring a strategic mindset, a commitment to equity and a collaborative approach to decision-making. I am eager to serve in this role and help advance the work of the AAP.
