What motivates you to seek this position?

I’m driven by the belief that navigating today’s complex, disruptive health care environment requires governance with broad-based experience, as well as a deep commitment to the AAP mission, vision and values.

My background and hands-on expertise will blend well with the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Having contributed leadership to several groups within the “House of Pediatrics,” I bring a perspective that prepares me to foster concerted, coordinated and strategic collaborations. This would help advance the current and future iterations of the AAP Strategic Plan, ensuring the Academy effectively addresses the evolving challenges facing children and their health care providers.
