Login FAQ
I don't have time to read this! I need help with Login right now!
- Chat - Visit the Login page > Click the blue Chat bubble icon on the bottom right of the screen (available M-F 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central).
- Contact Member & Customer Care by phone or email for assistance.
What do I need to know ?
- Your Login is the Primary Email address associated with the your AAP.org account.
- Your Primary Email is where you receive AAP email communications.
- The Primary Email address will be the specific personal, work, school, or institutional email that you used to create your AAP.org account.
Where can I manage and edit my Primary Email?
- If you can Login > Log in and go to Profile > Contact Information > Email Addresses > Look for the Primary Email label.
What if I don’t know my Password?
- We encourage you to try your usual Password(s).
- To create a new Password > click the Reset Password link under the blue Login button on the Login page.
- Enter your AAP Primary Email (where you receive your AAP emails) and click the blue Reset via Email button.
- You should quickly receive a Reset Password email at the email you entered.
- If you do not receive the Password Reset email, check your Deleted, Junk, and Spam folders.
- If you do not receive the Password Reset email, check if you have an email rule set up to automatically filter AAP emails.
- Important: If you still do not find the Password Reset email, you may have tried an incorrect Primary Email. Please try Reset Password again with a different email address.

I think I know my Primary Email and Password, but I am still having trouble logging in?
- Check your browser Autofill settings. It might be using an old Username/Email and Password.
- Check your Password Manager settings. It might be using an old Username/Email and Password.
Should I create a new account if I am having trouble logging in?
- No! This will cause issues in the future with duplicate accounts.
