Sara “Sally” H. Goza, MD, FAAP, began her one-year term as President of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) on Jan. 1, 2020.
Dr Goza is a general pediatrician and has had the privilege of taking care of children in her hometown of Fayetteville, GA for over 30 years. She is a managing partner in First Georgia Physicians Group.
She has been involved with the AAP Georgia Chapter for more than 20 years, including serving on the Board of Directors, Medicaid Task Force and as chapter president. She currently is on the legislative committee, the fall planning group and the Board of the Pediatric Foundation of Georgia.
