Paul Carbone, MD, FAAP, is a general pediatrician with an interest in the autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities. He's also a professor within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. And he is the former chairperson of the AAP's Council on Children with Disabilities Autism Subcommittee. His son Ben is a 19-year-old young man with autism who participates in a post-high school program, works at Five Guys and loves to play basketball.

Dr. Justin Yu is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is a board-certified physician-researcher in Pediatrics, Internal-Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. He works with the Supportive Care team at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Dr. Yu's research focuses on improving the health and well-being of children with medical complexity and their family caregivers. He is currently supported by a Kornfeld Scholars Award through the National Palliative Care Research Center.
